Wednesday, a 1 1/2 year old glossy black female kitty with big round
green/yellow eyes, found herself in a feral colony when she was
abandoned by her family and starving. At first in her new foster home
she was quite frightened, but she quickly settled down and realized how
great it is living indoors with as much food as she wants and lots of
love and attention. She’s a very sweet girl who loves to have a
conversation with her humans and will respond when spoken to. She
follows her people around like a dog and comes when she is called. She’s
very affectionate and will purr instantly upon petting and also loves to
lick you. One of her favorite things is to sit on the edge of the sink
watching her humans brush their teeth in the morning, and she doesn’t
mind taking a drink from the tap at the same time. She doesn’t mind
being held or having her nails trimmed or being brushed. She is not
afraid of friendly dogs or kids! Her only shortcoming is she doesn’t
like other cats, but she could possibly be talked into accepting a
kitten once she’s comfortable in her new home.
She loves to sleep at the foot of the bed or on a tall cat tree.
Sometimes she gets frisky and likes to chase a jingly ball. Mostly she
just likes to relax in her low stress home and be with her people. She’s
very personable and not aloof at all. She’d be a perfect only pet.
